Carmel College is a school that encourages learning inside and outside the classroom. Clubs like the Astronomy Club allow students to continue their learning after their classes - but learning in a fun and enjoyable way! The leaders of astronomy club encourage us to learn more about what lies beyond the earth and also give us the opportunity to bond with other girls in other year levels.
During the beginning of the year there is an orientation for all students to be introduced to all the clubs and also have the opportunity to sign up to all the clubs they desire to join! This is usually how you can join the club but if you are late to the orientation you can always come to a meeting and sign up with the leaders there! If you wish to contact the club with any questions or maybe you want to join - make sure to attend the next meeting that is held in MJ2 , every Friday during morning tea! Or you can send an email to 1816@carmel.school.nz and feel free to ask any questions!
